How to Use Heatomi: Setup, Timer, Safety and Price Guide

To use the Heatomi heater, plug it into a standard wall socket, press the power button, and choose one of its two heat settings. You can set a timer of up to 90 minutes, or run the heat, the timer and the power from the remote across the room. The seller says it reaches full heat in seconds and has built-in protections that shut it off if it tips over or overheats.

How do I turn on my Heatomi heater?

Heatomi is a plug-in unit. The seller says there is no app, installation or setup to do first. Here is the order to follow:

  1. Put it where you will sit. The seller describes it as fitting “neatly beside a desk, sofa, or bed.”
  2. Plug it into a standard wall socket.
  3. Press the power button and choose your heat setting. The seller’s page says you can “Pick from 2 heat modes and adjust the temperature to suit you.”
  4. Set the timer if you want the unit to switch itself off. The seller says you can “Choose a timer up to 90 minutes.”
  5. Use the remote if you want to change settings from across the room. The seller says the remote “turns Heatomi on and off, adjusts the heat level, and sets the 30-, 60-, or 90-minute timer.”
Setting What the seller’s page says
Heat settings Two heat modes, with adjustable temperature
Timer Up to 90 minutes; 30, 60 or 90 minutes on the remote
Controls Power button on the unit, plus a remote
Noise “a soft, low hum”
Carrying Light, with a carry handle

When should I start using it, and how fast does it warm up?

The seller says the heater “reaches full heat in seconds,” and its FAQ says most bedrooms, offices and living rooms “feel warm within minutes.” One verified reviewer on the page wrote that the living room was warm “in about ten minutes.” Those are the reviewer’s words, and your room will depend on its size and how cold it starts.

The seller pitches the heater for cold rooms, with heat “from taking the chill off the room to warming it up on colder days.” Turn it on when the room you are in needs warmth, and use the timer for the hours you want it running.

Is it safe to leave a portable heater on when I am not home?

The seller’s FAQ answers “Is Heatomi safe to leave on?” by pointing to its built-in protections. It also says: “For extra peace of mind, use the timer so it switches itself off.” The seller’s safety features are:

Feature What the seller says it does
Tip-over shut-off “It shuts off automatically if it’s tilted or knocked over.”
Overheat cut-off “If it gets too hot, the thermal cut-off stops it and resets once it’s cooled.”
Housing Flame-retardant ABS body
Timer Switches the unit off when the time is up

The seller also says you “can safely use this heater while sleeping because its tip-over and overheat protections are always on.” Until you have the seller’s answer in writing, switch it off at the wall when you leave, or set the timer so it shuts off on its own.

What should I do if it shuts off?

The seller does not say how to restart it after a tip-over shut-off. Check the product manual or ask the seller. If the overheat cut-off stops it, the seller says it resets once it has cooled. If it keeps shutting off, stop using it and contact the seller.

Stop and bring in a licensed professional for live electrical work, gas, structural changes, or suspected asbestos or lead. If the plug, cord or socket feels hot or damaged, unplug the heater and stop. Our electrical project boundary guide explains where a plug-in heater ends and electrical work begins.

How much does Heatomi cost?

Prices as of October 30, 2026; check the checkout for today’s. The seller shows quantity pricing, and labels the two-unit pack “Best Seller” and the three-unit pack “Best Value.”

Pack Price per heater Total shown Seller’s “reduced from” total Advertised saving
1 heater $119.99 $119.99 $266.64 55%
2 heaters (“Best Seller”) $99.85 $199.70 $570.57 65%
3 heaters (“Best Value”) $89.49 $268.47 $894.90 70%

The “Save up to 70%” wording on the page refers to the discount on the offer price. It is not a figure for how much energy the heater saves. The page says the offer is limited and that stock levels are “LOW.”

Check today’s price and pack options at the Product Page.

The seller’s pages also disagree on the ship-by date. One version says “Ship by Nov 1,” and another says “Ship by: Oct 23” and “Ship by Oct 24.” Confirm the date at checkout.

How do refunds work?

The seller says: “If you aren’t happy with the product, we offer a 30-day money return policy. Send your package back and get a full refund, no questions asked.” The product page also says “100% Premium Quality Product — Satisfaction Guaranteed.”

Ask the seller to confirm those three points in writing before you order.

Does Heatomi really cut heating costs?

The seller’s claim is that central heating warms every room at once, while Heatomi “warms only the room you’re in.” The FAQ says most people “leave the central heating off in the evenings and just move Heatomi with them.” That is the seller’s explanation. The page does not measure your bill.

Check the label on the heater or ask the seller before you order.

The seller’s comparison table lists these points against “Others”:

Point (seller’s list) Heatomi Other heaters (seller’s comparison)
Heats only the room you’re in Yes No
Warms up in minutes Yes No
Cheap to run Yes No
Timer control Yes No
No installation needed Yes No
Easy to move around Yes No
Safe to keep on Yes Yes

The page shows 4.8 out of 5 from 1,527 reviews, and says 97% of reviewers would recommend it. One reviewer wrote that they “haven’t put the big heating on once this month.” The page also says Heatomi “Was Rated The Best Low-Cost Room Heater Of 2026,” and does not name who gave the rating.
